Marilyn Arsenault is a respected runner, mentor and coach. Marilyn discovered competitive long-distance running at an age when most athletes are considering retirement, but has since forged the kind of success many lifetime runners can only dream about. She’s proudly represented Canada at the national and international levels and has taken home championship titles on all surfaces: track, road and cross-country. Now in her mid-50’s, she continues to put her name in the record books and to reshape perceptions of what masters athletes can achieve.
Marilyn’s own training foundation was a focus on form and technique, principles adapted from both the Alexander and Pose Methods. Today, she’s dedicated to sharing what she has learned with recreational and elite athletes. She’s a firm believer that mastering technique for injury prevention and efficiency is as fundamental to running as it is to sports such as swimming, cycling and tennis.
Marilyn’s experience at the top of her field, her hands-on approach to teaching and her passion for seeing her runners improve, make Mindful Strides an offering unlike any other.
